AUCKLAND SHOW SELLS OUT

The Classic Hits Acoustic Church Tour’s Auckland show at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell on Friday 12 October has now sold out.

This is the fourth in a series of 14 nationwide shows to sell out. One Wellington and two Christchurch shows have also sold out. There will be no additional show for Auckland.

This year’s Tour presents Anika Moa, Boh Runga & Hollie Smith: Together in Concert for the first time ever, and with five shows already complete the collaboration is proving to be a massive hit with concert goers.

“It’s great to see the shows selling so well and it reflects the popularity of Anika, Boh and Hollie. Together they are quite simply magic,” says co-promoter Brent Eccles.

The Classic Hits Acoustic Church Tour is a show in two halves with the trio performing a selection of their extensive back catalogues of hits – on stage together throughout the whole show – as well as new material from the upcoming album, all arranged specifically for the unique church venues.

Napier show a hit!

The 5th annual Classic Hits Church Tour launched last night at a sold out St John's Cathedral in Napier.  Anika Moa, Boh Runga and Hollie Smith performed two spectacular sets to a spellbound and rapturous audience.

Civic Events co-promoter Brent Eccles said "It was an inspirational performance, their voices melded together beautifully and in the setting of the church it made for a remarkable ambience. Two standing ovations, what else do I need to say?"

NEW SHOW ADDED

The Classic Hits Church Tour’s Christchurch show presenting Anika Moa, Boh Runga & Hollie Smith: Together in Concert at St Michael and All Angels on Wednesday 17 October has sold out.

The show is the second Christchurch show to sell out, the first, scheduled for Thursday 18 October, selling out two weeks ago.

With just a month until the 5th annual Classic Hits Acoustic Church Tour hits the road, two of the 13 shows have already sold out – Saturday 6 October in Wellington at Old St Paul’s and Thursday 18 October in Christchurch at St Michael & All Angels.

However fans still have the chance to purchase tickets to shows in both cites with limited tickets available to the second shows in Wellington (Sunday 7 October) and Christchurch (Wednesday 17 October).

This year’s Tour presents an exciting collaboration of three of New Zealand’s most talented and versatile female singer/songwriters: Anika Moa, Boh Runga & Hollie Smith: Together in Concert for the first time ever.
