NEW SHOW ADDED

The Classic Hits Church Tour’s Christchurch show presenting Anika Moa, Boh Runga & Hollie Smith: Together in Concert at St Michael and All Angels on Wednesday 17 October has sold out.

The show is the second Christchurch show to sell out, the first, scheduled for Thursday 18 October, selling out two weeks ago.

Due to demand, Civic Events, promoters of the annual Church Tour series have announced an additional third and final show for Christchurch fans, to be held at St Michael & All Angels on Tuesday 16 October with tickets going on sale at 9:00am today.

Co-promoter Brent Eccles is not surprised the shows have been popular with Cantabrians:

“We are thrilled to have sold out the second show at St Michael & All Angels and moved to our third. The church is intimate and it has beautiful acoustics and without exception all of our performers love playing at St Michael & All Angels!”

Now in its fifth year, The Classic Hits Church Tour boasts 14 shows in 11 cities including, for the first time, Rotorua. The full run is Napier, Palmerston North, Wellington, New Plymouth, Hamilton, Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua, Christchurch, Dunedin & Invercargill.

The Classic Hits Church Tour is a show in two halves with the trio performing a selection of their extensive back catalogues of hits – on stage together throughout the whole show – as well as new material from the upcoming album, all arranged specifically for the unique church venues.
