The Classic Hits Church Tour, 2012
Napier show a hit!The 5th annual Classic Hits Church Tour launched last night at a sold out St John's Cathedral in Napier. Anika Moa, Boh Runga and Hollie Smith performed two spectacular sets to a spellbound and rapturous audience. Civic Events co-promoter Brent Eccles said "It was an inspirational performance, their voices melded together beautifully and in the setting of the church it made for a remarkable ambience. Two standing ovations, what else do I need to say?" The Classic Hits Church Tour is a show in two halves with the trio performing a selection of their extensive back catalogues of hits – on stage together throughout the whole show – as well as new material from the upcoming album, all arranged specifically for the unique church venues.
